At JSW Steel’s auction for 102,700 tonnes (t) of screened iron ore lump (10-30mm, Fe 58-59%) from its Jajang mine in Odisha today, only 11,850 t was booked at the base price of INR 2,500/t ex-mines including royalty, DMF and NMET. The company’s last auction for 395,000 t of iron ore lump (10-30mm, Fe 57-58%) conducted on 6 Jun’22 with the floor price at INR 3,450/wet metric tonne (WMT) ex-mines received no response.
