- Base metals prices opened at rangebound levels today. However, zinc fell over 1% in morning trade. Among base metals, only copper stocks rose 1% yesterday, equivalent to 1,275 t d-o-d.
- Brent oil futures fell 0.71% to $122.20 and crude oil WTI futures fell 0.65% to $120.73. Shanghai imposed partial lockdowns after China’s largest economic hub recorded a cluster outbreak of COVID-19, which might dent global fuel demand.
