Chinese mills raised HRC (SS400) import offers to Pakistan by $20/t to $805/t CFR as against $780-790/t a week ago. Improved sentiments with the easing of lockdowns in China and the promise of government stimulus have pushed steel prices upwards this week. Furthermore, buyers were heard to have booked 40,000 t HRC (SS400) from Japan at around $835/t CFR for July’22 shipment.
