India: MOIL intends to sale Ferro Manganese & Manganese Ore

MOIL is conducting two auctions for sale of High Carbon Ferro manganese & Manganese ore through MSTC on FoR mine siding basis.

MOIL is conducting two different auctions for sale of 1,056 MT High Carbon Ferro manganese and 17,568 MT Manganese ore (lump & fines) on 28 & 29 Oct, 2014 respectively.

General Condition

• Bidders can also bid for exporting Ferro manganese but are not eligible for export of Manganese ore
• Material is offered on FoR mine siding or FeMn plant basis
• The mode of dispatch shall not be changed from rail to road and road to rail
• The bid value shall be the basic price of the material exclusive of all applicable levies such as royalty, sales taxes, duties etc in INR/MT 

Auction 1: HC Ferro Manganese

• Grade: Mn 70-77%
• Size: 03-50 mm
• Total quantity: 1,056 MT
• Location: Ferro manganese plant, Balaghat (M.P) 
• Mode of dispatch: By road

Auction 2: Manganese Ore (Lump & Fines)

• Grade: Mn 25-30%
• Total quantity: 17,568 MT
• Location: Dongri Buzurg mine, Distt Bhandara, Maharashtra
• Mode of dispatch: By road/rail

• Bid opening date: 13.00 hrs IST on 29 Oct, 2014 

Transportation: The buyer will arrange for transport and on their specific authorization, the material will be handed over to the transporter. Loading shall be arranged by MOIL.

MOIL had conducted its last auction for sale of 560 MT HC Ferro manganese on 12 Sep, 2014 and 5,312 MT Manganese ore on 04 Sep, 2014.
