CoalMint has heard that Russian anthracite fines (less than 10mm) offers have fallen by 17% to $275/t CFR India east (at present) as against $375/t seen in the last week of Feb’22, before the Russia-Ukraine conflict started. The price fall has come amid reduced demand from the global market due to the sanctions on Russia coupled with sluggish steel demand.
