Peru, one of the leading copper producers in the world, has registered a decline in production of copper in Apr’22. The country’s copper production stood at 170,168 t in Apr, down 1.7%, y-o-y, as against 173,759 t in Apr’21. Moreover, the country’s production of zinc declined by 23.6% to 98,938 t in Apr as against 129,519 t in the year-ago month.
