Domestic stainless steel scrap prices witnessed a fall today compared to last week’s prices amid limited buying enquiries from major mills and correction in the prices of molybdenum in the international market, sources informed SteelMint. SteelMint’s assessment for 304 grade scrap stands at INR 150,000/t ($1,929/t) exy-Delhi, while 316 grade prices stand at INR 235,000/t ($3,023/t) exy-Delhi. However, the major mills are still in a wait-and-watch mode.
