China: Iron ore spot prices increase as pandemic restrictions loosen

The spot price of iron ore in China increased on 6 Jun’22 due to rising hot metal output amid production resumption. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices went up by $3.10/t to $146.75/t CFR China. Easing COVID-19 restrictions in China has resulted in the buoyancy currently being observed in steel raw material prices.
