India: Hindalco, Balco hike aluminium ingot prices by INR 3,750/t

Hindalco and Balco increased primary aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices on 7 Jun’22 by INR 3,750/t ($48/t) compared to 2 Jun.
Hindalco’s effective price is INR 246,500/t ($3,172/t) exw, while Balco’s effective price stands at INR 249,000/t ($3,205/t) exw.
The three-month LME aluminum contract price was recorded at $2,782/t, rising $56/t, while cash prices closed at $2,742/t, rising $41/t yesterday compared to the last trading day.
