A Mini Ratna Company, MSTC has invited offers for suppliers empanelment to supply imported Non-coking coal to various power utilities/buyers.The contract will be from 01 Nov, 2014 to 31 Oct, 2015. Empanelment will be done with two associate suppliers for each four zones of the country.
General Conditions
- Tenderers must have experience of importing coal from China, Australia, Indonesia, South Africa etc directly or through any PSU, with minimum 0.3 MnT of Non-coking coal during FY14
Or - Minimum 0.6 MnT Non-coking coal during last two fiscal years i.e. FY13 & FY14
- They should also have experience of supplying/delivering 0.1 MnT (out of 0.5 MnT) imported Non-coking coal in the last three fiscal years (FY12, FY13 & FY14) to any government/private utilities in India
Scope of Work: The associate supplier has to quote minimum 0.5 MnT of specified coal with all logistic facility to buyers’ site in each zone.

Note: Power utilities mean both captive power plant and independent power projects.
