Base metals prices trended upwards by up to 4% in morning trade today as the LME opened after remaining closed for two consecutive days last week. Notably, nickel rose the highest by $1,019/t today as against last day’s closing. However, stocks at LME-registered warehouses declined up to 2%, with copper contracting 3,250 t as against 1 Jun’22.
