Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd. (GPIL) has decreased pellet offers for domestic buyers by INR 1,500/t ($19/t) to INR 8,800/t exw ($113/t) from INR 10,300/t ($133/t). Meanwhile, other offers from Raipur-based pellet producers stood at INR 8,400-8,500/t ($108-109/t) exw . NMDC’s announcement of reduction in iron ore prices and cheaper pellet bookings reported from eastern India at INR 8,300-8,500/t DAP* ($107-109/t) have pulled down offers in Raipur, SteelMint notes.
