Domestic lead re-melted ingot prices exhibited an upward trend on a weekly basis, increasing by 0.5% to INR 187,000/t ($2,411/t) from 186,000/t ($2,398/t) on 2 June’22. LME lead ingot cash prices were recorded at $2,144/t on 1 Jun’22, an increase of 1%, w-o-w, from $2,122/t on 25 May. According to market participants, supply and demand of lead ingots in the market are stable and prices may remain rangebound in the near term.
