Melting scrap prices witnessed minor changes across markets today, as per SteelMint assessment. While prices saw an uptick in a few markets due to the improvement in semi-finished steel prices amidst lack of scrap offers especially in north India, in central and south India prices had to be adjusted owing to lack of demand for semi-finished and finished products, particularly in the Chennai market, SteelMint notes.
