Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan increased by RMB 20/t ($3/t) on 1 June 2022. Prices stood at RMB 4,470/t ($670/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for October delivery closed today at RMB 4,712/t ($706/t), witnessing a rise of RMB 28/t ($4/t), d-o-d.
