Private integrated steel producer ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NSI) has reportedly slashed list prices of galvanised plain coil (GPC) for June despatches. Subsequent to the revision, prices of galvanised coil (0.8mm, 80gsm) price stands at INR 75,000/t ($968/t) exy-Mumbai. Slow demand and falling prices along with those of substrate HRC and CRC were among prime reasons behind the price cut, SteelMint learnt from sources.
