Vedanta’s Ferro Alloys Corporation Limited (FACOR) has scheduled an auction for different sizes of high-carbon ferro chrome on 4 June 2022. Vedanta produces around 7,000 t of ferro chrome each month (installed furnace capacity: 45MVA*1) and plans to expand by 4,000 t more in the near future, sources said.
