Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the second consecutive day at RMB 4,450/t ($667/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 31 May 2022. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for October 2022 delivery was closed today at RMB 4,684/t ($702/t), witnessing a rise of RMB 63/t ($9/t), d-o-d.
