HR strip (patra) prices plunged INR 1,500/t ($19/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and INR 300/t ($4/t) in Raipur on 31 May’22. The current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices are assessed at INR 50,300/t ($648/t) exw-Mandi and INR 50,400/t ($649/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
