The country’s largest four-wheeler manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, held an auction for 3,800 t of CR busheling scrap from its Gurgaon facility on 30 May’22. According to latest updates, the entire quantity was booked at INR 44,400-44,500/t exw, down approximately INR 9,000/t ($115/t) compared to the previous month’s auction price. Notably, the company sold a total of 1,457,861 vehicles in FY’22, lower by 6.7% y-o-y.
