Iran: Billet, rebar prices edge down on falling global prices

Iran’s domestic billet and rebar prices fell sharply this week following the drop in billet prices on the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) due to falling global steel prices, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billet prices fell by 1,500 Rial/Kg to 156,500 Rial/Kg as against the closing on 25 May’22.
• Rebar prices stood at 176,500 Rial/Kg on 30 May, a sharp fall of 1,500 Rial/Kg.
