Induction furnace steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, increased prices today after a long time by INR 700/t d-o-d to INR 51,200/t exw. The recovery in buying enquiries and transactions witnessed today pushed the manufacturers to increase their offers. Rising billet prices also supported wire rod prices, although trade discounts in the spot market offered by the traders were more than INR 1,200/t.
