Base metals opened on a positive note in morning trade today, with zinc rising almost 3%. On the other hand, nickel prices fell almost 3% to $27,088/t today as against the last trading day. Stocks at LME-registered warehouses declined, with copper contracting 6,250 t d-o-d. Notably copper stocks fell sharply by 18,425 t on a weekly basis. Domestic aluminium producer Nalco decreased its aluminium ingots prices on 28 May’22.
