HR strip (patra) prices edged down by INR 200/t ($3/t) in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, while prices remained largely stable in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, on 28 May’22. Current prices of base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) are at INR 50,100/t ($645/t) exw-Raipur and INR 50,000/t ($644/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST. Prices fell by INR 5,000/t ($64/t) in Raipur w-o-w and by INR 6,200/t ($80/t) in Mandi w-o-w.
