India: Domestic coal trade prices fall up to INR 900/t w-o-w

Domestic coal prices fell in the reseller’s market on 27 May’22 as prices of 5800 GCV ROM coal were recorded at INR 13,500/t in Ramgarh, Jharkhand, down INR 500 /t w-o-w. In Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur 4500 GCV coal is assessed at INR 12,600/t, down INR 900/t w-o-w. Higher prices had dampened buying interest from the core sectors, especially due to sluggish demand.
