Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 4,450/t ($664/t), inclusive of 13% VAT, on 27 May’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for Oct’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,576/t ($683/t), witnessing a sharp rise of RMB 71/t ($11/t), d-o-d.
