India: JSW Steel achieves highest-ever crude steel output in FY’22

Steel major JSW Steel reported highest-ever crude steel output of 17.62 mnt in FY’22, up 17% compared to 15.08 mnt in FY’21. In Q4FY’22, too, the steel major recorded highest-ever quarterly production at 5.01 mnt, up 14% against 4.41 mnt in the previous quarter. Increase in production is a result of higher capacity utilisation rate of 94% in FY’22 and 98% in Q4FY’22.
