HR strip (patra) prices edged down by INR 200/t ($3/t) in Raipur, while prices remained largely stable in Mandi Gobindgarh on 27 May’22 due to volatility in the market. The current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices were assessed at INR 50,300/t ($648/t) exw-Raipur and INR 50,000/t ($645/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%.
