Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur remain stable today. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 55,000/t exw. Manufacturer sources said that limited purchase enquiries and trades yesterday along with uncertain trends in the semi-finished steel market prompted suppliers to keep offers unchanged. Trade discounts in the spot market were around INR 1,000/t.
