IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), has invited bid for purchase of Concast (CC) MS Billet in West Bengal on open tender basis from the indigenous manufacturers. Billet requirement is for the month of Nov-Dec’14.
General Conditions
- Tenderers should be a valid BIS license holder for production of mentioned product with the specific grade & size
- They should have an installed production capacity of minimum 120,000 MT pa CC MS Billet
- They should be able to produce & dispatch minimum 12,000 MT of CC MS Billet within a month
Specifications
- Grade: IS 2830:2012 C-20 MMn Grade C
- Length: 11.8-12 m
- Cross section: 150 +/- 5 mm
- Size: 150x150x12 m
It should be suitable for rolling IS 1786:2008 Fe 500D grade for TMT.
Total Quantity: 12,000 MT +/-10%
Mode of Dispatch
Preferred mode will be rake load on freight pre-paid basis. In case of dispatch by road, delivery will be made on FoR ISP Burnpur basis.

- Bid opening date: 15.30 hrs IST on 22 Oct, 2014
Note: SAIL has invited another tender for purchase of 4,000 MT (one rake) Iron Pellet till 31 Oct, 2014 for its Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) unit in West Bengal.
