Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 4,470/t ($668/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 25 May 2022. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for October delivery closed today at RMB 4,541/t ($678/t), witnessing a d-o-d recovery of RMB 73/t ($11/t).
