SAIL’s Chandrapur Ferro Alloys Plant (CFP) is rescheduling its silico manganese auction on 27 May for the third time in the month due to poor response from participants in the previous auctions. The quantity offered is the left-over (Mn 52-57%, 0-3mm, 3-10mm) material i.e. 700 t of the last auction held on 18 May. In the last auction, only 100 t of silico manganese was sold at INR 63,200/t out of the total 800 t offered.
