Raipur-based steel wire rod manufacturers saw limited enquiries and transactions in the last couple of days which forced them to slash prices by INR 2,500/t to INR 51,500/t exw. Besides, weak sentiments in semi-finished steel market is also weighing on trade activities, thereby, compelling suppliers to give tradable discounts of around INR 2,000/t in the spot market.
