China: Primary aluminium imports fell 12% m-o-m in Apr’22

China imported a total of 34,877 t of primary aluminium (unalloyed) in April 2022, a fall of 12% m-o-m as against 39,433 t in March 2022.
Moreover, on a yearly basis, the import volume witnessed a sharp fall of 78% from 155,618 t in April 2021.
Since the period January-April 2022, the country has imported 131,428 t of the material, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
