Aluminium scrap prices across grades rose by up to INR 5,000/t today as against 20 May’22, sources informed SteelMint. The market saw an uptrend in scrap prices on increased buying enquiries and following positive LME cash and 3-month prices. Moreover, some sellers are holding their offers, expecting prices to move up further. Aluminium scrap tense prices are assessed at INR 165,000/t ($2,127/t) exy-Delhi, excluding GST.
