Steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur increased prices today by INR 500/t to INR 56,500/t exw d-o-d. Healthy booking orders till late evening yesterday supported manufacturers to increase offers today. However, low buying enquiries at prevailing offers forced suppliers to offer trade discounts that remained at high levels of around INR 2,000/t in the spot market.
