India: OMC floats Tender for Sale of Iron Ore

OMC tenders for Iron ore lumps & fines sale from its mines in Odisha.

Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), a state government undertaking company, has invited tender for sale of Iron ore lumps & fines available at different Iron ore mines of OMC at Daitari region in Odisha.

Iron Ore Lumps

• Size: 10-40
• Fe: 62%
• Quantity: 15,000 MT +/-10%
  

Conditions for Participation

• Miners already engaged in mining activity with OMC are not eligible for items of the same mines/region
• Iron ore leasing agency and traders shall not participate for this tender

Iron Ore Fines

• Size: (-) 10 mm
• Fe: 62-64%
• Quantity: 30,000 MT +/-10%

 Conditions for Participation

• Trader/end-users who are permitted by Dy. Director of mines/mining officer may participate
• Any other unit apart from end using shall be treated as trader
• Iron ore leasing agency shall not participate for this tender
