IFFCO unit in Kandla, Gujarat had conducted an auction for 500 t of MS scrap and around 50 t of scrap aluminium cable on 17 May, which were booked at INR 46,200/t and INR 96,500/t exw respectively.
Kandla unit is IFFCO’s first production facility to manufacture complex fertilisers. It has a capacity to produce 1,27,000 tonnes (P2O5) of NPK grades fertilisers per year. Kandla unit regularly conducts ferrous and non-ferrous scrap auction of different grades from time to time.
