Pakistan: Ferrous scrap imports drop over 15% m-o-m in Apr’22

Pakistan, South Asia’s leading ferrous scrap importer, recorded shipments at 0.27 mnt in Apr’22 as against 0.32 mnt a month ago, as per SteelMint data.
Seaborne bookings for April fell by 15.6% m-o-m compared to March.
Similarly, on a yearly basis, scrap imports dropped as compared to 0.32 mnt in Apr’21.
