Raipur market witnesses around 10,000 t of sponge iron deals as offers edge lower

SteelMint’s assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) fell by INR 200/t to INR 34,000/t exw Raipur. With decline in offers, demand improved.
About 5,000 t of P-DRI (FeM 80%) deals were reported at INR 33,700-34,200/t on exw and DAP basis, while around 2,000 t (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 33,200-33,300/t DAP Raipur.
2,700 t of DR CLO grade sponge iron deals were reported within INR 37,200-37,600/t exw.
