ESL Steel Ltd. has revised long steel prices for mid-May’22, sources informed SteelMint. The effective price stands at INR 68,500-69,000/t ($885-892/t) for rebar (12-32mm, Fe500D) which is the same for wire rods (5.5-6mm, SAE 1008) on exy Delhi basis, excluding GST at 18%. The drop in prices is due to sluggish demand in the domestic and overseas markets.
