- SteelMint assessment for domestic copper armature scrap prices rose today to INR 703,000/t ($9,035/t), an increase of INR 6,000/t ($77/t) from last trading session, while copper secondary CC wire rods are at INR 746,000/t ($9,583/t).
- The LME copper cash price opened at $9,190/t today, a rise of 1.39% as against 13 May’22.
- A few traders believe that prices are showing signs of recovery owing to easing lockdown restrictions in China and positive LME trends supporting scrap prices.
