HR strip (patra) prices dropped by INR 1,300/t ($17/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 900/t ($12/t) in Raipur on 16 May 2022. The current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 57,200/t ($736/t) exw-Mandi and INR 56,500/t ($727/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST.
