IDCOL’s ferro chrome auction receives moderate response

IDCOL conducted an auction for 800 t of ferro chrome (lumps) on 13 May’22 at its Jajpur plant. Around 600 t of lump-sized material (10-100mm, Si-4%,) was booked at INR 122,100/t at 2% higher than the floor price. Meanwhile, 200 t of lump-sized material (10-100 mm, Si-2%), was booked at 4% higher than the floor price. The auction saw less participation and most of the material was booked by traders, sources informed.
