South Korea: Stainless steel finished flats imports drop 40%, m-o-m, in April

South Korea’s stainless steel finished flat products imports dropped by 40.34% m-o-m in April 2022 owing to weak demand in the country, as per SteelMint data.
Import volumes stood at 35,586 t in April as against 59,649 in March.
Moreover, in January-April 2022, the total import volume was recorded at 156,281 t, down 34.5% from the same period last year.
