Induction furnace-route steel wire rod prices remained volatile in Raipur (Chhattisgarh) market with manufacturers reducing prices marginally by INR 300/t to INR 58,500/t exw amid weak semis sentiments in the key regions. Trade activities again turned subdued after seeing an improvement in yesterday session. Suppliers are heard to be giving trade discounts at over INR 1,000/t.
