India: Met coke sold at INR 54,000/t in east as demand turns sluggish

CoalMint heard a deal for 2,500 t (64% CSR, 25-90mm) of BF grade coke being sold at INR 54,000/t exy Cuttack, while offers in western India are heard at INR 55,000-56,000/t. No major deal has been concluded. Domestic met coke prices fell from the highs of INR 65,000/t in Mar’22 as coking coal prices dropped and demand softened on volatile market sentiments.
