Imported scrap offers to Thailand dropped significantly by around $45/t w-o-w.
Fresh offers for Central American-origin HMS 1&2 (70:30) are being quoted at $480/t CFR levels as against the offers quoted at $525/t CFR a week ago.
Bids for the same material are lower by $10-15/t. Lower bids and dull finished steel demand are pulling down offers.
