India: JSW’s crude steel output in April rises over 20% y-o-y

Steel major JSW Steel has churned out 1.667 mnt of crude steel in Apr’22, up 22% from 1.371 mnt in same period last year, as per company sources.

• Flat-rolled steel production stood at 1.20 mnt, up 25% as against 957,000 t in Apr’21.
• Production of long steel products stood at 354,000 t, up 5% compared to 337,000 t in Apr’21.
