Aluminium scrap prices drifted down by up to INR 3,000/t ($39/t) on falling exchange prices by around a 3% d-o-d basis. Although the future exchange price level contracted more than 3% during the early trade session but later on recovered slightly. Neither firm offers nor firm bids were there in the market today amid an uncertain scenario. Aluminium tense scrap prices are assessed at INR 166,000/t ($2,146/t), exy Delhi, excluding GST.
